BCCI is always seeking ways to benefit our local community. Last month we introduced
The Community Hub. Every Monday from 10am until 1pm, BCCI opens its doors to local residents. Locals can gain free access to computers and use the internet or the Microsoft suite as well as scanning and printing facilities. We hope
The Community Hub may assist people with limited access to a computer and/or printing, or simply anyone that wants to meet other local community members in a warm and friendly environment. We are proud to offer this service, which joins our other free services, '
Budgeting Essentials,' our online budget planning workshop, and our weekly online
English conversation classes.
Our
English classes have been particularly successful, with many local and international students attending regularly. Here's what some of our lovely participants had to say:
“My experience with the English conversation class has been really rewarding; it has given me the opportunity to improve my listening and speaking skills.” Michelle, Hong Kong.
“I am so glad that I participated in English classes, it improved my English language and also made me more confident speaking in English.” Shireen, Jordan.
“This distance learning class does’t feel distant at all. It is a great opportunity to improve my English in a pleasant and stimulating way.” Mansoor, Pakistan/The Netherlands.
"The class is very helpful, interesting and useful.” Nariman, Jordan.
"The difference with this class is that, in addition to learning English and getting to know new cultures, you do it in an environment where diversity is respected and everyone is encouraged to speak even with their difficulty." Fernanda D., Brazil.
"Thank you to BCC Institute for giving us the opportunity to practice and improve our English language and skills, much appreciated!" Fatia, Jordan.
"I would like to thank BCCI for helping me with the English conversation classes, it helped me a lot to improve my vocabulary and sophisticate my grammar level, once again thank you so much!” Fernanda R., Brazil.
We aim for
The Community Hub to be just as useful for Canterbury-Bankstown as the English classes have proven to be. Help us spread the word and let your friends and relatives in the local area know!
