Meet our lovely students and staff! Each month we profile a student or staff member so you can learn a bit about what makes us tick.
Q1 What is your first name?
Roohi
Q2 What is your role at BCC Institute?
Training manager and Trainer and Assessor (Early Childhood Education and Care)
Q3 What is your earliest memory of BCCI?
Very friendly atmosphere and accepting staff.
Q4 Did you play any sports or have any hobbies as a teenager?
I played basketball.
Q5 Did you have a teen idol? Who was it?
My Mother.
Q6 What was your first job? Best job/why? Worst job/why? Ideal job/why?
My first job was working at a gym in New Jersy (USA). It was only few weeks since I was there and my English was not that good. The owner of the gym was very cooperative and helped me a lot to develop my confidence. Worst job I would say when I was working with an RTO in Sydney. The delivery was very unorganized and I left the college within a few months. Working with BCCI is the best place I have ever worked for. The place is very cooperative, organised and friendly. I had a lot of opportunity for my professional development while working here. Specially my recent experience of delivering the course online. It was quite challenging at first but I got lot of support from the principal and other staff members to deliver it successfully.
Q7 Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
My family who have been supportive and motivating.
Q8 What is your favourite place in Sydney (that perhaps not many people know about)?
Brighton-Le-Sands.
Q9 If you could visit any city, where would you go?
Dubai
Q10 What advice would you give to new students?
Work hard as there is no short cut to success.
